Over the last 20 years the owners and staff of Wood Duck Manufacturing have designed and built countless numbers of mantels and other fireplace finishing products. Most have been original designs, however like most mantel designs today we’ve always borrowed liberally from the rich history of hearth and mantel designs from the ages.

The pictures presented in this gallery show much, though not all of our past work. Included is the Vissan collection as well as many designs created for some of the largest fireplace companies in North America. Most of the mantels here have made their way into the historical archives though several are still available through various companies.

Proprietary agreements made regarding any and all of the mantel styles shown here have long since lapsed and we are happy to offer these designs from our past along with our WoodDuck Line mantels.

Many of the mantels pictured here are shown with tile or marble facings and hearth surfaces. We do not provide either, however we routinely provide hearths and fireplace facing panels that are sized recessed to accept marble or tile.
